This was our experience, too. We got booted off our awesome plan that was cheap but covered *everything*, and the ones available sucked.

HouseOfWool...DH is negotiating right now with the first of the exchange insurances. They pay 60% less than the going rate of other private insurers. Awesome.

My ILs have coverage like BonBon and are worried. My mom's coverage isn't expensive but with a 5k deductible (even on office visits!) she refuses to use it. She asked HR if they were trying to kill all of them.
