Someone in the comments mentioned you could expand it by assuming there are multiple classrooms, and you might be in the front in some classes, but in the back in others.

I was pretty disheartened by some of the butthurt comments from white guys assuming that the very idea of this thought experiment is discriminating against them. *sigh* Right over their heads.

Excellent teaching moment. I struggle with "appreciation" or awareness of advantages vs "guilt" and isolating feelings.
