  • Bill Cosby is Countersuing

    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-30343324

Hmmm. What are everyone's thoughts on all of the allegations against him? I initially avoided reading a lot about it because I thought so highly of Bill Cosby. As more allegations hit the press though I became pretty disheartened. I really don't want to believe this about him, but at the same time there are several possible victim voices that can't be ignored. It's shocking to think that Bill Cosby would drug/assault a dozen women. Now with all of the allegations out there, he's countersuing.

Have you been following the news on this?

I haven't been following, but I feel the same as you. I would like to know what a 15-year-old was doing at the Playboy mansion. Or maybe I don't want to know. The whole thing is so icky.

I'm mortified, but not shocked. You would be surprised how many well-like and upstanding appearing people are sex abusers.

What I find most damning is the consistent MO from one woman to the next. Women who've never met, never heard others' experiences, had the almost exact same scenario.

Janice Dickinson's revelations were some of the most damning, in my view. She's been a Cosby detractor for decades and it didn't really make a lot of sense until she came forward.

This. I really really want to be surprised but I'm not. Consider some folks in politics that use their power to take advantage of women, or men in sports, this is not a short list.

I haven't checked, but when did all this begin? 70s?
Has his wife made a statement?
          The news turns my stomach.
