  • Police using "entrapment" to charge people with sex crimes against children

This caught my eye yesterday. I can believe this happens, but I also wonder why the adult man ever continues with the date if the other side is clearly pushing for som agenda they are so against.

As always, I'm the middle child on this - reserving judgment.

So, what do you think? Is this a thing? Or are these guys just making up an elaborate defense?

What would you think if this was your coworker? That he was a closet pedophile or that he got screwed?

I think it's unethical behavior from the police officers involved. It reminds me of some of the stories I've read about "terrorism suspects" being entrapped by federal agents in similar ways. They start out uninterested in illegal activities, and then the agents pressure and assist them in getting involved, then arrest them.

I think it's wrong of the police. Sure, the guys are mostly creeps, but the police way overstepped.
