    Anyone following this?

    I have really liked him....but I think it's weird to suggest you've been in a helicopter that's been hit when you haven't been. Also, it seems like there may have been some other exaggerations/lies in New Orleans.

    I think he should lose his job.

    I think of him as an actor. I guess I really don't think he made it up on his own, but someone probably told him to say it. My hope is that he takes over The Daily Show.

      I think they are unearthing even more stuff than that. I do feel bad for him too. He wasn't content to just report the news he wanted to be part of the story, unfortunately now he is the story. Such a waste of a career and how utterly humiliating.

        I'm...meh...I'm annoyed with media. It's not surprising or sad...sadly. The media would have continued to sell the story if it didn't benefit them or was uncovered. I hate the media as much as politicians. I don't feel badly for him at all.

            I have always like him too, but now I am just disappointed. I will never trust him again as a reporter.

                I trust the media about as much as I trust politicians so I'm not surprised. What annoys me more than what he said is that they have to make a huge example out of him. They have to act like it's so out of the ordinary he has to be fired. Whatever, 90% of what's reported on any news channel is conjecture, biased opinion and just plain lies. I think he should keep his job because I like his voice.
