• Should pot be legal?

ie Do you support the decriminalization of pot?

I'm not planning on smoking it, but I don't think it should be illegal. I would support it becoming legal in my state.

Also wouldn't use it but support legalization.

Should pot be legal?

Our state has legal medicinal and recreational weed. The taxes have been ASTOUNDING for local schools and law enforcement budgets.

The dad of a good friend here is a legal producer and his descriptions of their set up and the regulations that oversee their entire operation are really interesting. The quality control is very well regulated, too.

I don't know many people who use weed recreationally, but those who use it now used it before it was legal, too. Doesn't seem to be much change there.

diggitydot Do you mean that schools and law enforcement are getting more money?

If people are smoking heavily in an enclosed area, yes. That is a possibility. It's called "hot boxing".

Should pot be legal?

Yup. The most of the taxes charged to the entire industry (they tax it 25% at every level -- grow, production, retail) goes to schools and law enforcement.

And the business is raking in millions already. It's a HUGE growth industry here that is resulting in job booms in construction around grow sites, jobs in the farms and production facilities, and jobs in the legal shops where people are needed who know the difference between sativa and indica strains and how people will react to them.

Our state will (most likely)be legalizing it. I have mixed feelings on it. Our state is going bankrupt with the governors stupid health care plan and non business friendly agenda and huge amounts of welfare. Some representatives just got back from Colorado, from a "fact finding trip"
It'll be interesting to see how it goes. I've never smoked it but know plenty of people who do.

A lot of the industry is going more towards edibles now. Smokers still are a significant segment, but a lot of younger users are using it in edible form.

Yes diggitydot . And I hear they try and cook the edibles in their mother's ovens. Heavy sigh.
