  • Halloween costume question

I'm putting this in the debate forum just in case.

Aidan wants to be Trump for Halloween. He does an awesome impression of Trump and thinks it's hysterical that Trump is on the ticket. He's not a fan, just a 7th grade boy curious about politics. He's also not a Clinton fan. He has no opinion about who should be president, but feels both candidates are bad.

Thomas bought Aidan a Trump mask and a Hillary for Prison t-shirt. Not as a political statement, but as his "scary" costume.

I'm concerned. I wonder if it might be a safety hazard. People are f'ing crazy this election cycle. I don't think our neighbors will give him poisoned candy, but we have outsiders who come to our neighborhood. Could he be stabbed, hit by a car, beat up?

Should I put the kabosh on his scary costume?

    Kris

I'd like to think people are mature enough to realize it's Halloween. In our area, I'd not be concerned. But where you live, over the years, you've shared some weird stuff. I'm not sure....???

I'd probably skip the shirt, but let him go as Trump if he wants.

Put on a suit and the mask and it will likely be fine.

Clinton supporters will think it is the scariest costume out there and Trump supporters will think it is an awesome costume.
