    That would really get to me too Ladybug. I can understand in the case of someone who is trans but if it's just a personal preference.... I guess I don't understand why everyone has to know.
    BTW, this is the first I've ever heard of this so pardon me if I sound clueless.

      I'm pretty sure it's mostly/only in academics. This isn't going to be a thing in real life. People who are actually trans will have their preferred pronouns and we will use them (that's a very small percentage of society) but everyone else is going to have to deal with the way we've been speaking for millennia.
