  • Taxes, healthcare, and education

I’ve been thinking about this a lot. If we lived in Germany, we would be paying the same amount in taxes as we do here. The difference is that our taxes would also benefit us, not just other people. Our kids would have basically free college. We could choose private or public (run by a private company) healthcare and we would pay a small fee each month for healthcare as would our employer. There would be no 10,000 deductible and unpayable prescriptions. Germany values a healthy, educated population.

What is wrong with politicians on both sides of the aisle that we can’t research what works elsewhere and make it work here? Why are there so many Americans that only care about themselves?

Medicare for all is a joke. It is completely broken, pays very poorly, and is financially broken already.

We need to start from scratch in a bipartisan effort. I’m so tired of worrying about healthcare costs.

Every public university should be free to those who qualify. No question. Even the playing field.

If we quit giving trillions to other countries and spent a little less in some areas, we could do it without raising taxes. I can tell you. The 65k I spent on my degree is the worst financial investment I ever made. I’d never do it again. I wish I had been smarter.

    Kris

I'm too mad to even come up with a coherent response to this. I start spitting. I'll work on it.
