    Amen to that-

And ther are plenty who choose not to participate, disclose their political opinions, etc.

So, for those of us who do, well, be able to defend your position, be able to explain with out attacking and heck, the whole point is to share ideas, not blast one another!

Why are there more 'liberals' than not? I don't think there are- I think that many of us who are liberal are more comfortable discussing topics that others may be vehemently opposed to and for those people, debate is sort of pointless- I am interested in why other people think the way they do. Someone else may not give a rat's ass why I think Hillary Clinton is the greatest thing since sliced bread- they don't participate because they have no interest in debate- that's cool too.

I am liberal on many, many issues. But I have lots of opinions on lots of things that may not jive with the Liberal Left. (I'm sure I do- I just can't think of any right now!)

So- if you're going to participate in the debate section, be a grown-up, don't personalize it and be open to at least considering the others perspective before replying. We all have a frame of reference that is hard to define online.

So, later gang, I must go to work...
