Jennifer, I hope your morning/evening/all day sickness doesn't last! I hated that part of pregnancy, it was all day for me.

Sorry about your coat. And I'm envious of your size 4.

Personally, I loved the second trimester. It's a "cute" pregnant, no sickness, nor are you uncomfortable. If only the whole pregnancy could be like that.

            Congratulations, Jennifer!

Kris, I won't ignore your topic! I would take legal action in those cases, too. I absolutely believe we should have the right to legal action, but SOMETHING has to change. A lot of Chicago-area ob-gyns have had to move their practices to Wisconsin- it's ridiculous. It's been interesting reading the statistics about award caps. I don't know what the answer is, but it sure does seem like we should start paying more attention to California.

I definitely agree with Esther that we should be able to sue - no doubt about it that there do exist cases where a lawsuit is the way to go. I just think these cases are MUCH fewer and far between than we might be inclined to think.

BTW - Thank you for the congratulations everyone! I'll be into the "cute stage" (second trimester ) of pregnancy in no time. My mom's in town right now so all is well in the world....
