Upon reflection, can I just say that I'm chafing at being called a "strong democrat"....It just doesn't feel right. I think I scored this high because I do have strong liberal beliefs about every child having access to healthcare, education, housing etc. But I have strong ideas about fiscal conservacy overall and have very libertarian views about about civil rights and abortion....

I guess that this is why labels don't fit.

And what's up with "you have a strong sense of right and wrong"? What does it say for the Republicans? That you don't?

I was wondering that, too? I'm tempted to re-take it and put the opposite of how I really feel to see what it says.

Oops! I want to switch my vote! I clicked democrat after doing that survey but really should have put independent -- that's how I register to vote.

Here's what you get when you are a Republican. Turns out they have a sense of right and wrong, too.
            You are a

            Social Conservative
            (30% permissive)

            and an...

You are best described as a:

            Republican

You exhibit a very well-developed sense of Right and Wrong and believe in economic fairness.

No -- I just answered the quiz a little differently because I was curious if Republicans had a "strong sense of right and wrong" as well.

Well, they never said if it was the RIGHT sense of right and wrong, or if you believe in the RIGHT kind of economic fairness

Well, I voted "independent" on this poll.

                    My test results:

                    You are a

                    Social Liberal
                    (60% permissive)

                    and an...

                    Economic Conservative
                    (75% permissive)

You are best described as a:

                    Libertarian

You exhibit a very well-developed sense of Right and Wrong and believe in economic fairness.

                    Very interesting!

On the political ideology chart I fall right on the line seperating libertarians and capitalists and just outside of the centrist circle. On the famous people chart I am on top of Donald Trump's left eye.

No surprises for me either! Although for the poll, I will answer Democrat because until we have viable third/fourth/fifth party cadidates, I have to be the one that "fits best".
