wow - kudos to you for being able to live with somebody of the opposite political persuasion. Love should transcend politics!
I can't stomach watching his addresses either.

I thought he spoke a great deal of common sense.

Perhaps this should be moved to a more appropriate venue such as the debate forum where politics is discussed?

          moved.

but I'm only speaking for 1/2 of the admins...I HATE the man. I thought I hated Reagan, but OH, No, not even close.

So, we'll ponder this more in the debate section.

          Hugs and kisses,

So, did he break the law by allowing NSA to listen in to innocent americans conversations?

Me thinks he did. and even the Libertarians agree!!

            Jenn

(p.s. both of my parents worked for NSA and neither can say what they did- and they both agree that laws have been broken.) (my mom did "translation" during the "vietnam conflict" [that's how it's known in certain circles] and my dad did "computer work" [the fact that there really were no 'computers' usually ellicits a laugh and nothing more...] and yeah, the fact that every country my father travels to ends up in a horrible civil war HAS crossed my mind, but, again, we get giggles over the dinner table. {Kuwait, Yugoslavia, Indonesia, need I go on?})

and you all wonder why I'm warped?

I was going to have the t.v. on as I went to sleep, but I didn't want indigestion and such, so I quickly turned it off. Bar none, I think he is the worst president this country has ever had. I hate him.

Sorry, I'm still enjoying my high from Feingold and Co salvaging some of our civil liberties to let myself listen to Bush and be sucked into the abyss.

I love the scolding of the paper for saying there was wiretapping going on. Uh, yeah, and allowing the NAME of a CIA operative to be made public isn't damaging to intelligence gathering?

Speaking of SNL skits - did you see this:

                        http://www.transbuddha.com/mediaHolder.php?id=1147

And now (surprise surprise) Alberto Gonzalez says it's OK to wiretap.
Next it'll be OK to torture American citizens who were found guilty of a crime during an illegal wiretap.

I did not listen to the speech (was out with family). We all know I do not like the guy. I've decided that the best thing about Bush is that he's turning so many people off that perhaps the dems (or independents) can recapture power.

Yep, I think he broke the law. I wonder if this comes even close to Clinton lying about sleeping with Monica...let's see, spying on American's, getting a blow job. It's a tough call. (Oversimplifying, yes, but if we're going to impeach one president for lying, then we've got to be consistent.)
