WASHINGTON - Vice President
Dick Cheney apparently broke the No. 1 rule of hunting: Be sure of what you're shooting at. He also violated Texas game law by failing to buy a hunting stamp.

It's been pretty funny here in DC- the jokes are running rampant. And the Washington Post style section printed 'spray' on the top section of the page and it continued for the first three pages. Cracked me up!

Well, he WAS a Republican, one of those guys who donates huge sums of money and gets to play with the VP as a result.

I'm not so sure I'd feel welcome at the party anymore.

Apparently the Republicans in Congress are a wee bit worried about how this reflects on the White House and in turn on their reelection campaign. They are worried that it sends a sign the the VP thinks he's above the law. (no, ya think?)

but for the first time, ever- I actually felt sorry for Scott MacClellen. The NBC guy ripped him a new one.
