    The Supremes

    I'm feeling mighty proud of our system of checks and balances after the latest Supreme Court decision regarding military tribunals. I've been discouraged that the government was acting more and more like a dictatorship with all this "executive authority". I'm glad the high court decided to address the issue. I'm hoping that this verdict will make the current administration involve the legislative branch in more of its programs in decisions.

    I've been thinking about this too Angie. I am pleased (and surprised) that W finally got called on all of his executive order stuff ... but overall I'm frightened as to where the court is heading.
