    Oh Boy...

    So Japan got their boy... My question is: why the pressure on these poor women? Masako's got a head on her shoulders, but was turned into a baby-making machine (excuse me, baby BOY making machine).

    If they need a boy, couldn't they re-institute concubines?

    ummm, and WHY is the pressue on the women when it is the MEN who are providing the boy / girl chromosome!?!?! I love it how people tend to forget that part when 'wanting' one sex or the other.

    I think it sucks, b/c they were so close to allowing a woman to *gasp* become the monarch. Who's to say this 'boy kid' isn't going to be a MORON?
