anderson cooper's special this week about the congo/darfur crisis? what a gut wrenching special. everynight at 10 i watch it and think WHY? it does nothing but sadden/sicken me. why is this situation such a "dirty little secret?" why dont we hear about this more on the regular news? why is there nothing being done on a more grand scale to help these people and the disapearing wildlife?

I read the blog and almost cried. What freaking animals. Who rapes a three year old girl ? I really hope there is a God somewhere that makes these men pay.

I can't read it. I just can't go there right now. I still start to cry when I think of the Amish girls.
