Okay I was watching Oprah about Iraq this week and I really wonder enlight of the current situation of secretarian violence was Saddam Hussein really that bad of dictator ? There is more violence and dying now than during his whole regime, especially if the 650,000 figure for dead Iraqis is true.

I guess it depends on whether your loved ones were in his prisons or mass graves.

Yeah, he sucked ass. But on the scale of really scary horrible dictators...he's just one of many. The Dudes in Myanmar are pretty flipping awful, we all know about the loonie in Korea and there are some pretty crazy people in foreign Soviet Bloc countries.

and let's not forget some of the fabulous leaders in Africa.
