If you were to die today where would you go ?

  • #2
I would like to think I'd go to heaven. Along the same lines as the "religion" conversation, I have always gone to church and have been taught everything I'm supposed to believe, but I still have doubts. My logical mind just can't wrap my head around some of the concepts, especially the ones that deal with death, heaven, hell, etc. My biggest fear is this exact question...where do you go? Deep down, I guess I believe I'll go to heaven, but I hope that I'll see everyone else I love there, too!

"I" would go to the ground....push up dasies....

For me, thinking I will spend eternity in some grand place means I have to do less work being 'alive' today....not that I do a good job.

Collective unconsciousness exists in my world....but I don't believe that you realize you are back there.

Imagine you are a wave on the ocean...you bounce around with all the other waves, enjoy the view, and make you way to shore. You smash onto the shore in all your glory and the wave is gone....but the water...the water is still there, but 'that' wave....never again.

Did you get that from "Tuesdays with Morrie"?

That pretty much sums it up for me. I believe that the journey stops at six feet under.

Depends on how I die and what my husband or family does with my body. That's where I will be.

I think your 'soul' comes back in some form. I firmly believe that there are "old souls" out there -- people who just know stuff that there is no good reason for them to know / understand.

I'm pretty sure my mom flits in and out of Jacob. But then, I'm pretty flakey.

Hey, as far as I'm concerned, the bar is just as likely as any of the other options. and sounds like a lot more fun than 1) Heaven 2) Hell 3) Worms and decay

I would hate it if there is reincarnation. but then again I wouldn't remember that I lived before anyway.

If reincarnated, I would want to be bigger, faster, and stronger so I could play in the NFL. Is that asking too much?

Ideally, I'd like to be thrown into the ocean as payback for all the sushi I've eaten. But I don't think that option is legal. Honestly, I accept that I would decompose back into the ground from where I came. I don't believe in Heaven or Hell.
My spirit? At the bar with the rest of the iMSN gang sipping Mojito's for the rest of infinity.
