I slipped it in to the "Vote today" thread. I'm not known for my patience.

If the Republicans feel half as crappy as I did over the last twelve years...I'm sorry. I know it hurts. and you kind of think, "wow, how did half the country not feel the same way I do."

I hope that the Dems realize that the national electorate chose Very Conservative Democrats, and that they reach out to the Republicans and maybe we can move forward.

I should have bought lottery tickets because today is a Good Day.

Honestly...I see it as a return to balance. I really do believe that a one party town is a BAD idea. Power corrupts. It's good to hear both sides of every debate. All that.

I think that we may actually see some progress now that the cat fight is a stalemate. One in the Congress and one in the White House. Maybe they'll be forced to get something done to prove themselves for the next election.

According to AP - Virginia has been called for Webb (D)! Yippie!!!

ITA - they need to be constructive if they want to prove themselves worthy for 2008. None of the "yeah - we'll work together, now let me appoint Bolton to the UN when congress is out of session" kind of working together, either.

I want to send them all a message saying "Now please, just DON'T screw it up."
