Again, I should answer my own question (also since I'm really trying hard to make the 50 posts quota, sigh!).

Not me, not 100% of the time. I have returned back into the field of politics that requires dealing with disgruntle constituents and kissing ass. Don't get me wrong, there are perks to the job and times that I do enjoy actually helping people and implementing positive change. However, I am noticing that I am not the most pleasant person to be around anymore (outside of work bc all I want to do when I go home is crawl up into fetal position and not deal with another person).

      Nurse / Nurse Practitioner.

I loved being a nurse and have just recently finished my Masters and passed boards for Adult Nurse Practitioner. I cannot imagine doing anything else.

          I absolutely love my job.

I work in television production. I buy and sell TV programs. For the programs we buy, we either buy the right to remake them with a local cast and crew, or we buy a final product. Since we are a production company, we rarely do the latter but sometimes we buy it to distribute it later on. For the programs we sell, we create them, shoot pilots, sell the show, and shoot the rest of the series. Then it is aired locally and we also try to distribute it abroad.

Whenever we shoot a show, I go on set. It's really interesting to see the different types of shows being shot (game shows, sitcoms, realities, talk shows, etc). In order to do the distribution later on, it is important for the sales department to know what really goes into the production (budgets, technical requirements, script writing, etc).

When we finish a show, we have a cast party! You meet lots of celebs and otherwise important industry folk.

Mainly I really love the international aspect of my job. We distribute our shows all over the world and we also purchase them from all over the world so I work with people from many different cultures.

Nursing Faculty. I dont looooooooooooooove it, but compared to some of the crappy nursing jobs I have had where I went 12 hours without peeing or eating, this one is pretty great. I teach mostly online courses and therefore can set my own hours. Cant beat that.

My job has its moments but I definitely wouldn't say I love it. I'm a Marketing Manager for a mall. 122 days and counting (roughly)...

I was a HS science teacher until ds was born.... and absolutely loved it. It is a job that grows on you... I will miss the classroom and I am sad that this is my very first fall in my life not going "back to school".

I do marketing and advertising but most of the time I feel like an administrative assistant. Blech.

Looking for a new job and working on the photo thing so I can stop doing this crap. Every day brings a migraine - woooo.

I love my job. It's in social work but it's not direct care. I'm a QA Manager for a methadone clinic but I'm basically functioning as an Administrator- but I supervise no one. It's beautiful. We are increasing my hours from 20 to 30 September 1 which is great because right now I don't think I'm giving them the best service.

My days of direct client care and direct staff supervision are DONE.

I love my job. I'm a career law clerk to a US Bankruptcy Judge. It is so enjoyable because:

                      (1) my Judge gives me enormous latitude in terms of my hours. I don't clock in and out--I don't have a "40 hour" week or anything. He just trusts me to do the work that needs to get done. If I come in late one day but then work the next weekend, whatever. He shows me a lot of professional respect.

                      (2) I get to be on the "cutting edge" of the law. We address new legal issues, which is cool. My legal analysis to the Judge impacts how the law is shaped through his opinions.

                      (3) I enjoy writing, which is most of my job. I prepare opinions, orders, etc.

I used to really enjoy my job -- administrative coordinator at a PR firm. But now we have another coordinator in our group who is bipolar and she has no control over herself. She says things that would get anyone else fired but because she's bipolar the company won't fire her for fear of being sued. It's gotten so bad that I am job hunting.

                            Clinical Research Coordinator

I love my job - mostly because of the working environment (my boss and coworkers are awesome!) but also because I work at a pediatric hospital and I think that it is important that we do research on the drugs that we are giving to children to ensure that they are getting the correct dosage, and that the do in fact work in children.

That doesn't sound quite right - I think it makes me sound like I think that kids should be guniea pigs. I don't - I just think it is terrible that only about 30% of the drugs that are prescribed to children have acutally been *tested* in children to make sure that they work and that they aren't getting too much or too little.

Anyway, its a ton of paperwork, but I love what I do!
