  • I hate medicare

They sent my application back for the third time. Line 4 on page 36 not signed. Couldn't they have told me all three things at the same time. I still can't see patients because I can't bill them!

Ugg - that sucks, my sis graduated in May with her NP and she's having issues too getting her priveleges (sp?) etc.

    Hang in there!

I lost track of how many times DH sent in his Medicare application...or re-sent it. It's crazy. I hope this time is the charm.

Wow, 36 pages! Luckily we never even saw DH's Medicare application (I'm sure he signed it at some point in the office without really knowing what he was signing).

          Can you see non-medicare patients?

            Re: I hate medicare

Yes I can, but most of the ones who want to see me are medicare. I actually have six women waiting for me for their physicals. I can bill under Jory's number, but he has to physically be on the premises for me to do that, and he is always late and I don't want to schedule people and then cancel or make them wait, and I don't want to bill using his number if he isn't there because I'm sure medicare would call that insurance fraud!!!!!

Jory promised that next week he will come in on time so that I can start. I will officially see my first patient on Monday!!!!!! I'm hoping that my medicare number will be approved in the next couple of weeks.
