    Took a new job today...

    will be working for a small law firm with about 4 lawyers...they do general practice..
    I put in my notice today at my govt. law job. It is hard to walk away from the stability of a govt. job and the benefits, but I had to take a risk.

    My plan is to get this experience and eventually I will be able to work for myself when DW is an attending and we settle somewhere.

                    thanks everyone....I will provide an update in a few weeks once I begin.

                    also, DW's new chair at her program starts monday. Hopefully all this change is for the better...fingers crossed.

                    It is such a relief...my current job is super stressfull. I have averaged over 100 casefiles at a time and lots of trials and hearings... It takes a toll on a person...
