      Wow...I just read several pages, Kelly...It is a really thought provoking discussion.....but I don't think forcing people who get pregnant out of wedlock to marry would be the best solution...

        I agree, we can't go back to chastizing people for the very difficult decisions they have to make i/r/t unplanned pregnancies. What I find extraordinarily interesting about these articles is that BOTH the conservatives and liberals agree that the break down of traditional families have profound ramifications on our society. Clearly, both camps suggest widely varying agendas for solving this crisis, but all agree that this pluralistic view of family life has created a higher incidence of child poverty, second generation divorce, increased child depression, and arguably, a multitude of other problems such as juvenile crime, teen pregnancy, and diminished educational resources.

        Anyway, this topic intrigues me. I'm going to look for more resources.
