  • Kaplan or Princeton Review

I finally realized that I'm incapable of studying on my own and need to take an actual class. Both Kaplan and Princeton Review have classes nearby and offer several groups in the next few months. PR is about $200 cheaper and there are 7 sessions, 3 hours each (which I think might be a bit much). Kaplan has 9 sessions that are 2.5 hours each. Can anyone recommend either of the two? Pros and cons?

    What test, the GRE?

Hubby used Kaplan to study for the MCAT and did great. I used a Princeton Review workbook that I got from the library after I decided on 10/9/2006 to take the GRE on 10/13 (when my due date was 10/19, LOL!) I did pretty well too. I guess that's all the input I have!

I have always been a Kaplan person. So has DH.

I'm planning on taking GRE. DH did Kaplan for MCAT but that was 10 year ago. I've tried getting books and studying on my own but I suck at independent study.

Yeah, I hear you. I think it was only the tight deadline that kept my nose to the grindstone, LOL. I'm sure either one will give you the refresher you need, since both companies have fine reputations. I think if it were me, I'd look at cost and proximity mostly (pick the most convenient location.)

I had the Princeton Review for the LSATS and liked it for that, I am not sure about GRE though

Thanks for everyone's input, I got more votes for Kaplan, so I signed up with them.
