As a reward for teaching next semester, I have the option of taking a class for free if I'd like. I got really excited about this and started flipping through the schedule of classes. Most classes are not at good times for me, but I found a couple of classes that I could try...
I'm just wondering if I should go for it or not....It seems like I'll have an awful lot of work next semester with two classes...I don't want to overwhelm myself, but at the same time...I don't want to miss out on the opportunity to fulfill my dream of being the perpetual student either 8) I'm afraid that I'd end up not doing well in the class because I really have to focus on the teaching...and then I'd look like a moron. I was looking at a graduate level Virology class...which might get tricky if I need to do a lot of memorization, write a paper....
There is actually an interesting lower-level online class called Biology of Women...that would be really neat....but I'm afraid I'd look kind of silly taking that class...
Can anyone give me some insight or suggestions?
Kris
