  • following her dreams

My sister-in-law left her solid, upwardly-mobile position in importing to start an art gallery with some friends. Sean, as her older brother, and I have always been a bit skeptical about the viability of such a business during hard times.

Much to our relief and surprise...she and her friends are making this dream become a reality. Please forgive my plug...but you all have to check her business out at:

That is so cool! I admire people that have the guts to do something like that! That is a neat site, too--I love the photos that were taken in exotic locations.

thanks for posting the site- I think the picture of the grapes is going to be our going away present for our bestest friends- they are HUGE wine fans and of course have some fabulous wine/grape related art.

      Very fun!

I missed that--I'll have to go back there and take a look! My parents and both of my sisters are wine-lovers so that would make a great gift.

Thanks guy, these are three young women trying to start their own business. Although we have no business buying a $125 print, we will probably do so to support them. Besides, the prints are beautiful and we could keep it forever. I really like that photo of the Bangkok temple.

Yes, Sean and I were the doubting older siblings. However, this business has been up and going for 6 months now. Sometimes it is good to be proven wrong! We tend to be on the conservative side when it comes to our professions. But the world certainly needs visionaries.

Oh yeah, if you take a look at Jennifer's picture, my dh has her exact features except he is 6 feet tall and bald!
