  • Two more weeks

Only two more weeks left in this job. I can't tell you how excited I'm getting. I kind of forgot what it's like to not be responsible for other people's lives and livelihoods. wow- I'm going to gleefully give up this pager- I'll tell you that. I was thinking today that I have been on-call for 10 YEARS!! The only time I haven't had a pager with me is when I've left the state or had someone cover for me for things like weddings and funerals.

    Party on!!!

          It's OVER!!!

I am officially not responsible for anyone other than myself. And I can't tell you all how good that feels.

They had a nice luncheon for me and made me wear a crown all day. Of course i showed up in my pink metallic Birkenstocks, my linen crop pants and my pink hawaiian print shirt- with my new silver and peridot margarita earrings. Go out in a blaze of glory I say!

My replacement is young and naive and is going to go in guns blaring. Hopefully she'll learn to relax and let everything take it's course. We'll see.

But, most importantly, I have nothing to do until 4/28! Ahhhhhh, I can clean this house, plant my flowers and relax.
