I have an interview next Friday! However, I just spoke with a friend & former colleague of mine and asked her about New Dept Chair and she said "you know, she has run off almost the whole dept." Friend could not talk because she was walking out to a meeting. Now I am anxious to hear if this is just a pile of crap I may be walking into IF it pans out. Ohhhhh - the politics of academia - ugh.
