My semester officially ended Wednesday! Yay! I'm so relieved and happy to get it out of the way early this year. My first class was a 2 credit hour class that ended a month ago. This other classs, ethics, was 3 credits but we met for an extra half an hour each week....shaving off time! We went out with a bang. I had a group oral presentation and all 3 of my group members were non-planners. We had time to meet as a group each week during classs and they talked about work, their social lives ... everything but our topic. I was a complete basket case on the night of our presentation (and I was kind of pissed). I prepared my part as best I could and sort of prepared for the worst. These guys just talked off the cuff and did an amazing job. They literally didn't know what they were going to say 5 minutes before we went up and presented and then they were great. I wish I had that talent because I do not!
Next semester is my last semester of taking required classes for my degree. I will officially be done with my graduation requirements. I'll spend the next year taking licensure classes that are not required to just give myself more time before internship. I am going to try to do more volunteering/preparing for internship ... then I'll do my internship after that.
So 5-6 week break here before heading back.
Yay. I'm so glad the semester is behind me. One more to go.
