    Hi Marla,
Thanks for asking. It is a little overwhelming. I'm taking 6 credits this semester and working 24hrs/week. Do you remember nursing theory courses? They are really silly and make no sense to me, the reading is unbelievable. This is my toughest class. The other is advanced pathophysiology (don't remember taking pathophysiology at all). It is hard but interesting because it is easy to follow, microbes+body =disease.
It really is the damn theory that is getting to me. Probably more than you wanted to know, thanks.

I remember those theory classes. I think it is bunch of fluff made up to make the nursing profession look good, but really it is just a few sentences of common sense made up into an enormous book with a bunch of dissertations done on it. I complained about it once on an NP listserv and was brutally bombarded- told I should be a PA and not an NP and all that.

I am teaching Advanced Health Assessment, all by myself, in the fall for 40 students . Last semester it was team taught by 2 PhDs- I am already scared to death thinking about it. The good thing so far is that the book rep is sending me loads of free books 8) . If there is anything I can do to help, let me know- I have been there done that, and skipped as many classes as possible while doing it.

I'm bad about that too. Usually I'm online the most when I have a big project to work on that I'm procrastinating.

I hope things are going great though for you with school Luanne! You deserve it!
