A good friend of mine from Gainesville opened up a nanny agency there when she was "between careers" and her kids were small. She had an MS in counseling, but chose to do something from home until her children were older....she recently sold her business (that really blossomed and was the place to find a sitter for the weekend, a weeknight drug dinner, etc, etc...she employed local college students and so you could get full-time, part-time or hourly care! She offered to give me all of her info on starting the business so that I could do the same if I wanted. Initially, I refused, because I don't see myself doing this in the long-term...but it would be a great way to get to know people in the community and earn some additional income over the next couple of years....I'm just not sure about it....does anyone have any thoughts?
