I went on 2 job interviews this past week-- just call me Superwoman- I can unpack boxes, put together my new home, learn my way around AND interview for a job all at the same time!
1st job- Public Health nurse. Interview went well, I could tell that they liked me. They have full and part time positions available. Pay is OK, benefits don't kick in for 6 months. The big pro to this job is that it would help me know for sure whether or not I want to complete that Master's in Public Health. They haven't offered anything, but I have a feeling they probably will
2nd job--- Home Health - Interview also went well. I go on Monday to interview with the director (I interviewed friday with the nurse recruiter). They also have full and part time positions. Big plus to this is the flexibility in hours. Their pay is better and benefits kick in the first of the month after you are hired.
I'm not sure what to do. Never figured I would be in the position of getting to chose between 2 jobs! Actually, neither one have offered the job, but I kind of feel like they will. Do I take the public health one and see for sure whether or not that is my life's calling or do I take the one with better pay and benefits?
I kind of screwed up and didn't apply for my Michigan nursing license until this week, only to find out that it can take up to a month to get it! Oops! Can't work without a license. DOn't know what to do about that one.
