Apparently when I renewed my nursing license online I mistakenly answered "yes" to the question asking if I had ever been arrested/charged/convicted of a crime I received a letter from the state today asking for my court records, etc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it. I called and they told me to write a letter stating it was an error. I wrote the letter, had it notarized, and sent it by certified mail. I cannot believe this. I wonder how long it will take the state to clear up my mistake. Makes me hate the computer age (just a little). I'm sure I'll be laughing about this later but right now I feel sick.

groan! Those things can really be a pain to clear up, can't they! My mom made a similar error and it did take some time....but once it was cleared up, Luanne, the *issue* never surfaced. So most likely, they will simply check the "no" box for you then and you'll never have to hear about it again.

      bummer!
