No advice from me either but if it's any consolation, I HATE having to write that sort of stuff.

eta: If it's any encouragement, I like your writing too. I'll bet that once you get going on something, it will turn out very well.

it's been five years since I did mine, but I probably talked about rowing and leadership and all that gobbledy-gook.

I'd be happy to help with the editorial process if I can.

Most personal statements are the same regardless of the grad school, there are the same basic do's and don'ts. I've edited statements for med/dental/law/MBA, let me know if you want me to read over yours.

Julie's the editor- don't leave her out!

(as I volunteer services of another iMSN spouse!) I wasn't allowed to read my husband's- he had to write one for residency.

My Master's program basically cared about 1 thing- did I have enough money to pay for it.

              Lilly,

I’m not sure if you’re still working on this, but I am going through the same thing… and I think it’s pretty awful…

If you ever want to chat about the process, please let me know…. and I can’t believe I’m still not done with this essay!!!! It’s sort of stressing me out -
