I'll have DH call tonight. They do an auto-withdrawal every month and don't charge a late fee until the 20th.

I would call them. Every finance company in the US is completely out for themselves. It's probably somewhere in the contract that it is your responsibility to make sure they take the money. It sounds ridiculous but they cover their butts anyway they can.
