Anyone flying via SWA soon?

I just realized I have a RT ticket to anywhere Southwest flies that will expire on 4/17/11. I always thought I'd use it for interview travel, but as things turned out, we didn't have as many interviews as I expected and the ones we did, the tickets were cheap and I figured I'd save my free flight for a more expensive one. Well that plan sucked because now I have a RT ticket that I have no use for!

Are any of you traveling before 4/17 and can use it? I'll sell it to you for well below what the flight would cost. I'd just hate for this darn ticket I hoarded to go to waste.

DH has his second interview rounds coming up - I think they are paying, but I'll double-check. If not, we could REALLY use that ticket.

Alternatively, I think for $50 you can extend the life of the award for a year. I know their whole award thing is changing up, but they might still be doing this?

I checked into this and you're absolutely right! It turns out you can "reissue" the award anytime up to a year AFTER it expires and then it extends the expiration another year from date you PAY the $50. Seeing as we're hoping to take the kiddos to WDW within the next year that'll work out great. Thank you soooo much Sandy for bringing this to my attention!
