  • Cashier's Check or Money Order

So we have run into our first issue of keeping our bank in MN. The MO license requires a cashier's check or money order. I have called our bank and asked if they can send me one and they can't, it has to be done in person. (We do plan to switch banks after we move in April.)

Does anyone have any suggestion on where or how I can get one?

It looks like I can get one at the post office but I'm wondering if that would exceed my transaction debit card limit (no idea what that is) and they only accept cash, debit or travelers check.

    Anyone with experience on this?

You should be able to get one at the customer service desk at any Fred Meyer, too. Not sure what their restrictions are for them. You might be able to write a check for one there.

Ooh, thanks Sandy. I'll see what they take for payment!

Tons of grocery stores sell them; Safeway, Walmart, Fred Meyers, etc.
