I've gone off the deep end...my goodreads shelf has 13 finance books and growing...
I'm currently really paying attention to William Bernstein, MD. He's a former neurologist which makes me feel like he understands the physician investor, but his advice is broadly directed and well-founded so I don't worry that he's playing too much to the niche market of "rich doctors". He owns a financial advising company that only takes portfolios greater than $10 million, but even for those clients he advocates "an efficient, low-expense asset-class-based strategy" which is pretty cool. I read his most recent print book, now I'm working my way through his reading list and his new ebook, after which I may go back and read some of his earlier work.
Anyway, just wanted to share my little SQUEE! I'm such a nerd. Oh, and I recently saw this little interview clip with him that added to my Bill Bernstein lurve.
He's so well-spoken and opinionated...*swoon*

On a related note, is anyone else geeking out on finance and want to share a favorite author? Laker, I know you've expressed a lot of interest (though I know you're busy these days...)
