I've been watching the calendar tick down towards December 31st, and I suddenly realized this could be my last chance for some financial moves. I know I can add money to an IRA until April 15th now, but are there any other things I should do now? I actually heard a financial advisor last year tell people to give charity contributions on their credit cards if necessary to get them in at the end of the year. You can pay for it later, but charge it in the current tax year apparently. Anyone out there financially savvy? (No actual money handling experience required. )

Those two are good ones!
If you pay quarterly taxes, you may want to make the 4th payment in 2005 instead of by the Jan 17 2006 date. That's the only other one I can think of.
