So the buyers agent / new insurance agent for our house in Cleveland (the one we're unloading) stopped by the house today but couldn't get it. Apparently someone forcibly removed the doorknob & took the lock box, but did nothing else. WTF? Can ANYTHING go smoothly? Is it too much for me to hope that this sale FINALLY goes through w/o any more bumps?

So now, in addition to $400 for the garage repair, & $100 or so for more lawn maintenance until closing, I'm going to have to spring for a new doorknob to be installed. That's hoping that the buyer's agent / buyer don't get skittish about "crime" in the area (which was never an issue for us) and try to pull the deal. :thud:

    WHAT? That is really strange.

    Suck about buying another doorknob.
