see? that would be fab. my grocery that delivers has a $15 delivery fee, $10 if you just want them to gather everything for you & you p/u at the store. No thanks!

But, as Kris says, I would probably save tons b/c I wouldn't be impulse buying. My dh is lousy at the store, too. He SAYS he hates it and always acts like he's doing me a huge favor, but then he thinks he shops proactively. What he really does is buy in bulk when it makes no sense, buys stuff we already have, or buys crap.

      Jenn,

Try going to the online site...register and then make your list...see if you can save more than $15 each shop by doing it online....if not...don't order. You might end up surprised....I save enough now that I get $15 out of it....but ...I was a bad impulse shopper.

I've found Trader Joe's to be a haven for cheap, quick food. I remember going once thinking I was going to pay upward of $100 but it only came out to $45. I don't think I bought any wine or candy on that trip so maybe that accounts for the low bill..

The Indian food with the naan, stir fry (with shrimp!), pasta dishes, these are mostly frozen and don't taste bad at all! They also aren't bad for you.

Thankfully my SO is pretty good about all things domestic.
