If there is such a thing, I know her. My MIL! DH got a call from his learning disabled uncle thanking him for some kind of season sporting event tickets in St. Louis. DH had no clue what he was talking about. He called his parents and MIL said. "Oh yeah, we bought Freddy tickets and your portion is $250".

Thanks for the warning, thanks for asking us if we want to go in on the gift. We have a lot going on right now and don't have an extra $250 floating around. The ILs are aware of our financial situation at this time. A little advance notice would have been appreciated. DH, of course, doesn't like to owe people money so insists on paying his parents immediately.

The witch will never turn into a fairy, but maybe she isn't so wicked after all. I was talking about DH was surprised when his uncle called about the tickets. She said that none of her sons knew ahead of time and that she wasn't excepting any money from any of them! Whew!

then why did she tell your dh that his share was $250? she needs to get her story straight!
