The Grammys

I've been watching for a bit and will probably watch a little more. We're playing name that cosmetic procedure.

Is Natalie Maines the one in white?

Yeah, she was in white when they sang. My guess the "needs to get over herself" comment was due to Natalie's response when they won "Country Album of the Year". Twas a bit tacky (but funny if you've seen "Shut Up & Sing"). She did Nelson's "ha ha" (from the Simpsons). It's b/c country music was so harsh to them w/the whole "ashamed Bush is from Texas" thing, so when making this album they decided not to go after the country crowd and make a rock album.

By the time they won "Album of the Year" she had humbled-up a bit and basically said that there was a lot of great music this year, and they're taking all of these awards as a sign that people respected them standing up for themselves rather than begging everyone for forgiveness.

Did anyone else see those little kids dancing during that Smokey / Lionel Ritchie / some rap guy montage (they only danced w/the rap guy). Those kids were amazing!

And Anthony Kedis said "I love my mama!" I've always loved that guy!
