    u2 tickets question

    U2 is coming soon to a location near me.... Is it worth it or necessary to pay $50 to join U2.com in order to get a presale ticket code?

    I am not looking for front row seats or anything, just want to go period. I know all of their shows sell out, but I dont know how quickly.

    I had a friend in Denver try to get tickets and she didn't get them in time. I'd be safe rather than sorry. I know she was planning ahead - but didn't anticipate the demand would be so great.

      I know she was planning ahead - but didn't anticipate the demand would be so great.
      U2 came to Norman a month ago--they had plenty of seats left and people were selling them for half price because they couldn't get rid of the...then again, it was Oklahoma, and half the population was in Dallas for OU/TX weekend

        We've seen U2 2 times (so sad we're not seeing this tour), anyway - we've never paid extra. As long as I tried to get the tickets as soon as they went on sale we never had any issues.
        Wife to NSG out of training, mom to 2, 10 & 8, and a beagle with wings.

          Do you have Amex or know anyone who has one and wants to go too? I get all my tickets through their presales.
