Apparently, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are headed for splitsville. I surely thought they were going to be together fur-evah......

I feel horrible for the kids involved.

      Ugh.

Their start was tacky, their relationship was tacky. At least if they don't make it a public war, maybe their demise won't be.

Yuck. Homewrecker and wife-cheater get together. Gee, who would've thought they might not work out?

Well said! I've never understood the way people gushed about them being such a great couple. I've just always thought of them as the "homewrecker and wife-cheater", too.

I feel very sorry for the kids. I bet their life is chaotic as it is.

So if they're having to go through this anyway, why didn't they just get married in the first place?

Agreed - I mean they are beautiful, but that doesn't make them a great couple by any means.

Things are always so much worse when kids are involved - that is who I worry about!

Not according the ever-reliable People magazine this morning.

I don't understand why anyone cares one way or the other about them or any other family in Hollywood. Lots of people get divorced and end up creating happy family lives with their next spouse/partner. (current party included)

Theirs was just played out in public. If the American public would let movie and TV starts be just that- people who happen to have a job in the entertainment field then it wouldn't be nearly as 'important.'

It's just like how the whole John Edwards love child hooha crap totally trumped the other news of the day- the Supreme Court decision, the Haiti earthquake, and 99% of the other news that actually matters and has an impact on the world. You know why? Because the American public as a whole is lazy and can't be bothered to think about things in more than five minute soundbites anymore. They're spoonfed their news via 24 news channels and are unable to critically think.

                OK, rant over.

Not that I normally have strong feelings - but this couple (or non-couple as the case may be) is on my good-list this week. Why? Because they were quick to donate $1 million to Docs without Borders immediately following the earthquake in Haiti. So, props to them for that.

Good point! Aside from that, I could care less whether they're married, single, divorced, living in sin. What ev.

I've heard a litttle bit about this story and that it hasn't come from the usual sources of celeb gossip. Are their people denying that they've split? If they aren't saying anything, I feel like it's a tell-tale sign that they've truly gone their separate ways.

I feel bad for their kids.

I do! and I thought they looked great at the Golden Globes- even if Brad needed a haircut.

I am rooting for them. I honestly hope they can keep their relationship together and strong. I feel bad for "celebrities" and wish they could live their lives like normal people. But then again aren't the "public" like your nosy family members trying to get up in your business 24/7. Just too bad they have millions of those types of people.

I know this is a Brangelina thread, but I read Heidi and Seal were splitting.
