Agreed, completely. I still watch Pretty in Pink when I want to cry. Love Ducky.

It's just so sad to watch someone deteriorate before our eyes.

And how come his brother Emilio Estevez never made it? He was always the better looking of the two IMO.

He's made plenty of movies. He's just been quiet and not so into porn stars and divorces. He's got 42 acting roles and 12 directing roles on iMDB. He wrote and directed "Bobby" a few years back.

I always had more respect for him b/c he chose to use his real name, rather than the stage name his father made famous.

ITA about respecting him more for using his real name. I knew he made a decent amount of movies, but I didn't realize he did writing & directing. Has he had any starring roles recently?

              http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1441912/releaseinfo

It looks like it's another movie he wrote/directed (he was in Bobby, too). It seems it only did film festivals in the US. I'd guess it's more that he's doing what he wants to rather than whoring for roles. I can't imagine he's hurting for $.

iMDB said he was the young Jeb Bartlett in a couple episodes of the West Wing, and I don't remember that ... so now I must go pull out my dvds and confirm.

Maybe he's pulling a Joaquin Phoenix for fun? (fat chance)

I saw him on the Today show this morning. He's a mess, skinny, weird, even creepy when addressing his children. The "goddesses" that are living with him look really strung out too.

I also feel bad for all the people on "Two and a Half Men" who he put out of jobs. Now, I hate that show, and am ecstatic that it's finally cancelled, but it's sad that one person's craziness has affected so many.

I just saw on the Today show that his estranged wife filed a restraining order yesterday which caused the cops to take his twin almost 2 y/o last night!

The interview he gave to the Today show along with his atty this morning came across as a lot more sober & less manic.

Isn't the estranged wife on drugs too? Makes me wonder what her true intentions are. Shouldn't all the recent behavior before yesterday prompted her to petition for custody? I have to wonder if it was more about her irritation of him parading "the godnesses" on TV & talking about them caring for the babies. Sounds more like jealously than sincere concern for the childrens well being. Not that I'm in anyway defending Charlie. Just that I think any competent parent would've taken action a long time ago.

I'm so sick of hearing about him and his crazy rants and raves all over the media. I have never understood how he is the highest paid actor in television, nor can I understand what the big deal is about his show. I think he and the show are mediocre, at best. It really blows my mind. I just do not get it. He's on this big media tirade, going on Good Morning America, 20/20, the Piers Morgan Show, etc acting crazy. I just saw on the news that the show's creator hopes to bring Two and a Half Men back. Charlie Sheen needs to be fired because he's acting like he's some sort of God right now. Ugh.

                          Rant over. Thank you.

Ooo, interesting thought. They say there is no such thing as bad press, even Donald Trump was thinking that this whole ordeal would just serve to make Sheen MORE money in the future because that is how the entertainment industry works.
