Just chiming in to say that I would be open to doing pretty much anything in exchange for shrinking to a humongous size 10 overnight. I would set fire to my house, give away my prized VW ... I would entertain any offers.

But carry on. Kirstie Alley is a size what? I don't think so.

I saw her on the view today. She looked thin but was sitting behind that big table.

          Yeah, impossible. I'm 5'2". At my thinnest (112), I wore a size 4P.

As always, I love you. So sad you're not coming to KC to be my friend.

Me too, but I think I would go broke on pilates classes.

If KA wants to delude herself...eh, whatev. If she feels good, is doing something good for herself, and feels positive about her shape -- good for her.

But I think that's what so sad! She did do something great for herself in terms of losing weight (according to her) but then she has to be weird about telling the truth. Weight loss should be celebrated regardless of the absolute size change! (Unless of course it's unhealthy weight loss but that's a whole different thread).

My driver's license is expiring soon and as I was looking at it the other day, I realized I listed my weight at 25 pounds less than what I could have been when I had it done. That number is now 35 pounds under my actual weight. Do I plan on updating it when I renew my license? HELL NO, let me live in denial another four years. Then as I'm reading this thread, it occurs to me, is that much different than what Kirstie Alley is doing?

Cassy, you look SO thin! You are 210? Really? I'm between 205-210 now. I can't believe it!

You're not out there in front of millions of women, young and old, who look at you and think "why is she a 12 when I have to squeeze my ass into 16?" You're also not under contract w/a weight loss company as a spokesperson. As to a driver's license, I see those more as a "guideline" ...

Florida doesn't put weights on driver's licenses. It's brilliant. That said, in NY and South Carolina and my 2nd Utah ones were all blatant lies. There was a brief period in SC where I actually weighed LESS than my listed weight. I figure no one really sees that anyway. I'm not on the front of people magazine saying I weigh 125 pounds or am a size 4. I would think more highly of her if she said I was a 22, and now I'm a 14! Most celebrities could learn a thing or two from Kate Winslet and Jamie Lee Curtis. Real women and awesome.
