We were bummed about Amanda Bynes. Anyone remember the Amanda show? So fun! She seemed like she was on track, guess not. So sad that these young people destroy their lives.

I've seen all these headlines on yahoo and msn lately about the crazy antics of Amanda Bynes and I have no idea who she is either. I don't click on the links or read about it because honestly I don't want to know about or encourage the next Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, Nicole Ritchie, or whoever that is doing doing dumb stuff to get attention even if it's negative attention.

You know why she dresses like an asshole and makes herself look way worse than she needs to and then gets scrutinized? That douche nozzle next to her consider himself to be so "fashion forward" and a prodigal stylist that he makes nearly all of her wardrobe choices (allegedly). Both of them are gross. But he's way worse.

Yeah and when the news of Angelina's double mastectomy came out it was all over cable news outlets for at least an hour. Like the lead story. I know bc I was at the gym and... I guess I thought there was other stuff going on in the world.

Our culture is just... Celebrity obsessed.

And for the record I like Angelina Jolie well enough, it's just tiresome to always have so much focus on celebrities.

I recently watched "Hairspray" again (Amanda Bynes plays the main character's best friend) and remembered again that she is talented...I am sad at how she is wasting her life.
