    He passed away today at the age of 63. They believe this may have been a suicide:

            He was one of my favorites ever since I was a kid. He was bipolar and had longtime issues with cocaine. Still a brilliant and hilarious mind.

              He also had issues with alcohol; he was an inpatient in one of the treatment centers here in the Willamette Valley for quite awhile a few years ago.
